If you’ve never attended a Broker Idea Exchange Council, you might want to book your seat early. This interesting and lively meeting has been a crowd favorite for several years. Broker Idea Exchange Council is a space where brokers meet to hear about industry trends, ideas, and emerging issues from trend setters and thought leaders, and the discussion is pretty fascinating.
Earlier this year, the topics addressed by the council included a presentation by Joe Pryor about the virtual office and the incredible profits that are possible with that business model. The standing room only crowd also learned how successful brokers are recruiting and mentoring new agents to success and a legal update about the concerning increase in wire fraud during real estate transactions.
The items on the docket for the National Association of REALTORS® Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida are equally fascinating in my opinion. Hot Topics include the following:
- CFPB Update on the Enforcement Timeline issues impacting our closings! – Joe Ventrone
- Social Media Best Practices for Brokers by NAR’s in-house social media guru, Nobu Hata
- Exit and/or Succession Planning with Danielle Riley
What’s great about the Broker Idea Exchange Council is that it’s an Exchange! Questions and discussions are encouraged. Come early to network, hang around a bit later to share insights. This is an opportunity to hear from colleagues around the country about how they are wrestling with similar issue.
Hope to see you on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 11:00am – 12:30pm
