Coming Back to Where it All Started

My trip check list so far:

  • Alarm Clock – Went off RIGHT on time (too early!)
  • Shuttle Driver – Hottest ever (thanks Steve!)
  • Bag Weight Limit– Almost exceeded (MUST be the KPties #kpties, visit!)
  • Flight– Smooth sailing to my final destination (thank you Delta Airlines for serving Starbucks on board, this makes this REALTOR® a happy traveler!)
  • Blue Skies and Sunshine – WARM welcome (thank you Orlando!)

Up next: Hilton Orlando for CRS meetings, networking with the best of the best, and REALTORS® Conference & Expo of course!

Goal for the week: Meet and exchange digits and emails with a minimum of 150 new REALTORS® from across the country to add to my database; REALTORS® that I can refer to, exchange ideas with, and that also have a passion, like mine for our industry.

It’s so exciting that my first year as a featured attendee is back where it all started, my first REALTORS® Conference & Expo that is! 2012 will forever be etched in my mind as a game-changer for my real estate career.

Back then, I attended the CRS (Certified Residential Specialists) meetings, and followed them with the REALTORS® Conference, and I have the SAME agenda this year, however this year I am serving as an executive committee member for CRS National, a regional vice president, and an ambassador for the Council and all because I got Involved and have a passion for this industry.

Excited? YOU BET!

I mean, where else can you spend a week with industry leaders, movers and shakers, REALTORS® who aren’t afraid to share what they’ve learned because they, like you, want to work transactions with the best REALTORS® in the industry? Meet top notch vendors with ideas to help you work smarter not harder, and build the career you have imagined.

I spoke with 2017 NAR FVP John Smaby recently and he told me that REALTOR® relevance is one of the biggest threats to our industry. That we must do whatever it takes to set ourselves apart. Take the educational offerings and earn the relevant designations so that we will be at the top of our game and at the top of mind.

If you are in Orlando now, make sure and stop by the Orlando Hilton, at 6001 Destination Parkway, Thursday and Friday to attend one or more of the top educational offerings FREE of charge. Visit for information #CRS
